Mustang is the sports car of all time. The only thing that was Jim Morrison is said, or the one we saw for much of what takes the classic French film, Un homme et un femme. Come on, that is one of those stories that you associate models with a type of character: rebellious, risky, which runs on the road ... ie with the great Steve McQueen in Bullitt (1968), where the Mustang was an extension of him.

Now, in the XXI century, many love the Mustang and that emotion aroused. This 2013 Mustang is still at the forefront of style, power and technology.

New design

The changes are most evident in its exterior, with its aggressive grille, high intensity headlights now, hood with functional heat extractors and more pronounced curves. Besides the GT now has 420HP, automatic transmission with SelectShift. Inside stands a sophisticated auto performance indicator and leather seats with two-tone stitching.

Mustang offers two models to choose from: a very attractive figure coupe and convertible modern and classic, in five different versions: automatic V6, GT in manual or automatic transmission, automatic GT with glass canopy and convertible automatic transmission.

SAFETY AND MOTOR

On the security issue, Mustang has powerful disc brakes with anti-lock (ABS) plus Stability Control, traction control and air bags for front-seat side bags besides. The interior is spacious for the driver-and passenger-and, although the capacity of the car is for four, the rear seats are all comfortable-road, you and your girl ... maybe your dog, you will not complain about this.

The 3.7-liter V6 engine develops 305 horsepower and 280 lb.-ft. of torque, while the GT has a 5.0-liter V8 with a power of 420 horsepower and 390 lb.-ft. of torque. Every part of the engine is designed to work in harmony, and this allows you to breathe efficiently, which provides a distinctive roar, a classic Mustang.

MUSTANG CONTINUES TRANSCENDING, now with more technology

This release also marks the debut of a Mustang's productivity screen 4.2-inch LCD, which gives you access to information related to fuel economy and vehicle performance. The screen is navigated through a five-button control located on the steering wheel routes and offers Track Apps, only system of its kind installed from the factory, showing typical performance metrics track testing. The app measures g forces, shows acceleration times in quarter-mile increments and from 0 to 60, and displays braking times, complete with automatic starts and countdown. This also allows you to record the fastest times with the acceleration timer screen.

The fantastic muscular Ford also offers two new audio systems eight speakers and 370 watts of power and nine speakers and 550 watts of power, the GT version, giving a clear, crisp sound. And now all versions from the base have a leather-wrapped steering wheel with inserts in the arms and audio controls.

Now we just imagine we will be like a modern Steve McQueen. Or at least we have a Mustang that makes us feel closer to that idea.
